With over thirty five years of experience, Mr. Kant has been the Project Architect on a variety of educational projects and has been involved in projects requiring both new construction and renovation. With this experience he has designed and managed numerous elementary, middle, high school and Community College projects.
Mr. Kant also has experience with custom home design and residential remodels. As part of this residential experience, Mr. Kant has dealt with processing plans through the local building departments, including obtaining variances. He has been involved with numerous commercial remodels as well.
Mr. Kant is experienced in all phases of the architectural process including design, construction documentation, specifications, cost estimating / budgeting, construction administration and project management. He is extremely knowledgeable in regard to the DSA approval process including DSA inspection and procedural requirements during construction. He is also proficient in the use of Revit Architecture and SpecLink specification software.
